Welcome to Lizzy Mint Makes, I love repurposing and upcycling. Everything you see is made in my kitchen workshop from previously enjoyed bottles of all your favourite tipples, plastic bottles, empty beer cans and reworked discarded Barbies. The bottles are broken up and the pieces are tumbled in my stone tumbler for a couple of months to smooth the surface and give the glass a matt, sea glass like finish. The pieces are then carefully selected and drilled by hand to create the pieces that become jewellery. The beer cans and coffee pods are cleaned and flattened and repurposed into colourful funky jewellery and accessories. I am always expanding the range as I discover more decorative items to repurpose. Somebody's trash is another ones treasure!
